twenty+3 projects is pleased to present universal shipping box, an exhibition of thirteen newly commissioned works from Argentina, Germany and Manchester each designed to fit into a medium sized pizza box. From globalism to science and travel to commercialism, the works in universal shipping box explore the ways artists understand the concept of the universal in the 21st Century.

 

universal shipping box in Manchester is the culmination of an exciting exchange between artists and curators from Argentina, Germany and the UK, which have included some shipping as well as exhibitions, events and discussions in Buenos Aires in May and in Berlin in July. Involved have been projektraumschwarz from Berlin, Red Nomade and Jardin Luminoso from Buenos Aires and Black Duck and twenty+3 projects from Manchester. universal shipping box has appreciated the generous support of the Arts Council England.

 


The exhibition is open 12 - 5pm Saturdays or by appointment.
